Messianic Judaism beliefs about trinity and Christian saviour-doctrine?

Messianic Judaism vs. Christian doctrines

[Click on the Hebrew words if there is any word that you don't understand.

Yәsha•yâhu 45.21-22 in the Hebrew says אני י--ה ואין-עוד אלהים מבלעדי (ani י--ה wә-ein od eloh•im mi-baladai; I am י--ה and there is no other-similar god, apart from Me)!!!

Not only is there no other different Ël•oh•im, there is no other-similar Ël•oh•im either!

This categorically rules out the Trinity. The Trinity concept can be defended only in English, but is precluded in the real—Hebrew—Ta•na"kh.

Yәsha•yâhu continues that He is "EiI-Tza•diq and מושיע (moshia; Savior), אין זולתי (aiyin zulati; there is none except/besides/apart from Me). Yәsha•yâhu makes it clear that the Savior (capital S) is, and can only be, none other than י--ה.

Yet, our conclusions must also be in harmony with other passages of Ta•na"kh, such as Ovadyah ha-Nâ•vi 1.21: "And מושעים (moshiyim; saviors—plural) shall ascend Har Tziy•on to render mi•shәpât over the Mount of Ei•sau, and the Kingdom/Realm shall be י--ה's."

Messianic Judaism vs. Christian saviour doctrine

There can be no savior different from the savior defined by Tor•âh and י--ה, and since there are more than one savior, we can be certain that י--ה designates saviors among Israel.

The only understanding of Ho•sheia 13.4 that is in harmony with Ovadyah 1.21 is also the most accurate literal meaning: "no savior without Me."

While י--ה doesn't give His כבוד to anyone different, Yәsha•yâhu makes it clear concerning the גואל (go•eil; redeemer; i.e., the Mâ•shiakh) of Tziy•on (59.20), if not all of Israel, that (60.1) the "כבוד י--ה shall shine upon you," and (60.2) "upon you shall י--ה shine and His כבוד shall be seen upon you." Yәsha•yâhu makes it clear (43.7) that all of Yi•sәr•â•eil כל הנקרא בשמי (kol ha-niqra bi-shәmi; everyone who is called by My Name) "I have created for My כבוד."

Shәlomoh makes it clear that י--ה does share His כבוד with the wise (Mi•shәl•ei Shәlom•oh 3.35): "כבוד is what the wise shall inherit." Within this framework we can understand Yәsha•yâhu's description of the Plant (a synonym ofNeitzër [sprout, shoot]), i.e., the Mâ•shiakh), in 4.2: “In that day shall the צמח (Tzëmakh; plant) of י--ה become [lit. be for] a desired-thing and כבוד.”

With respect to Yәsha•yâhu 8.23—9.3 see NHM 4:13-16 w/4.15.1. For Yәsha•yâhu 11.1I see NHM 2:23 w/notes. For Yәsha•yâhu 7.14 (1-7 & 10-16) and Mi•shәl•ei Shәlom•oh 30.18-20 see NHM 1.20-23 w/notes. [Source]

Messianic Judaism/Messianic Jews/Messianic Jew ?

Messianic Judaism /Messianic Jews/Messianic Jew ?

People with different doctrines claim to be adherents of Messianic Judaism. So what really is Messianic Judaism? Quite obviously, in order for a religion or walk to be messianic Judaism, it must be:

1.Messianic

2.Judaism

The Messianic part of Messianic Judaism.

Proponents of Messianic Judaism are talking about Judaism as it is defined by the Jewish Bible. Proponents of Messianic Judaism are claiming to follow the Mashiach – Messiah – of the Jewish Bible.

So what is the Messiah prophesied to teach according to the Jewish Bible?

Two Messianic prophecies of the Jewish Bible – the Tanach:

“In those days and at that season I will implant a Tzëmakh of tzedâqâh for Dâwid, and he shall make mishpât and tzedâqâh in hâ-Âretz” (Yirmeyâhu – Jeremiah – 33.15).

“For mishpât will return to tzëdëq, and all who are straight in heart shall follow him/it” (Tehilim – ’Psalms’ – 94.15).

True Messianic Judaism – Follow Torah

Yes, the words mishpât and tzedaqah are related to Torah-observance. You can find more about the word mishpat, in the article Yeshua, oral Torah and kosher? , on my blog.

What is Judaism

Judaism has been defined for millennia by the Bât•ei Din system ordained by Moshëh at Har Sinai. If you didn’t understand this sentence, then please read my article Yeshua, oral Torah and kosher?

Here follows a slightly edited definition from the website of Netzarim. Many of the below words are links to the definitions found in the ‘glossaries’ of the Netzarim-website:

“Both “Judaism” and “Jew,” derive from יְהוּדִי (Yәhud•i; Judean or Jew), plural יְהוּדִים (Yehud•im; Judeans or Jews), and the related יְהוֹדָה (Yәhud•âh, de-Judaized to “Judah” and “Judea”). Jews should properly be called יְהוּדִים (Yәhud•im).

“The term Judaism is first found among the Greek-speaking [i.e. Hellenist] Jews of the first century C.E… Its Hebrew equivalent, [יַהֲדוּתYa•had•ut, found only occasionally in medieval literature…, but used frequently in modern times, has parallels neither in the Bible (but see Ës•teir 8.17, [מִתיַהֲדִיםmit•ya•had•im, “became Jews” [joined the tribe of Yәhud•âh specifically?]) nor in the rabbinic literature.” (Judaism, EJ 7.383). The ancient, Biblically authentic, name was most likely dërëkh י--ה. (..)

Originally, this people of the Ta•na”kh were called יִשְׂרָאֵל (Israel ), designating all twelve tribes of Israel .

These terms were applied to the entire people only after the destruction of the Northern Kingdom of Israel (B.C.E. 722). “However, while the name ‘Jew’ became common usage outside the Land of Israel, the Hebrew-speaking Jews within the land were particular to call themselves ‘Israel ‘ (de-Judaized to “Israelites”)…

Long before the advent of the term “Judaism,” the original name of the Biblical religion of Israel was Derekh ha-Sheim (See entry for Dërëkh ha-Sheim). In the time of the Beit-ha-Miqdâsh, Hellenist Romans applied the term “Judaeanism” (in Greek) to “the religion of the Judeans.” Judaeanism was contracted to Judaism. Similarly, Judeans was contracted to ‘Jews.’ “

Messianic Judaism – How to practise?

As demonstrated above, you will need to learn how to follow Yehoshua – the Messiah. As demonstrated above authentic messianic Judaism is a pro-Torah-religion. You are not an adherent of messianic Judaism, if you are not doing your best to keep Torah including logical oral Torah – see article above – non-selectively.

No, I didn’t say that all of the traditions which Jewish leaders claim to be Oral Torah are Oral Torah. You need to study the article, Yeshua, oral Torah and kosher?, to comprehend the difference.

Check out this page if you are interested to keep authentic Messianic Judaism:
